Having mooted the idea with local Oxford Chinese restaurant owners and friends, Tanveer, MMCP Trustee is organising a themed dinner and dance. Exact date to follow. Watch this space!

Fundraising Quiz - May 13 2010
The Family Department at Hodge Jones & Allen held a fundraising quiz and raised £400. A big thank you to The Family Department.

Great Ireland Run & Dinner - April 16/18 2010
Nina and her good friend Mary Brady successfully completed the Great Ireland Run in Dublin and raised a massive €11,200. The same weekend, Mary hosted a charity dinner and raised another phenomenal €1000. Thank you Mary!

Fundraising Dinner - April 6 2010
Nasir Zaman (MMCP Member) and his friends and colleagues at Prime Group organised a fundraising dinner at The Light of Gurkha restaurant in Balham, Southwest London. This was a huge success and raised £1200. Thank you guys!

Bollywood Night - 15 November 2009
A lovely three-course meal with “Bollywood” style entertainment featuring the amazing Bollywood dancers of Sonams Dance
at Saffron restaurant in Summertown in Oxford.

1/2 Marathon
Well done to Nina who ran thirteen miles in the Great North Run and raised £1,025.00.

Ski Marathon
Emma Wray managed to raise £500 as a result of her Ski Marathon. Congratulations and a very big thank you Emma!

Pamper Day
A pamper day was set up for the school mum fraternity. Melissa Gilani performed 'top end' pedicures and manicures. She worked non-stop all day and single-handedly transformed the fate of many womens' feet and nails!

Vanessa, another fellow school mum and qualified alternative therapist, provided massages for those with aches and pains.

All this raised £260! Thank you all with help of advertising the event, making teas and coffees and for showing your support!

10K Run
Alia Gilani, a much valued trustee and diligent fund-raiser, managed to again raise £550. She and her friends in sunny Scotland have also committed to making a regular monthly donation!

Congratulations to Alia and Nina who both took part in 10K runs in Glasgow and Oxfordshire. Not only did they manage to complete the runs and live to tell the tale but also raised £4,000+.
